Why we started

Mountain Fever Outdoors. We started Mountain Fever Outdoors because we grew weary of hunting gear that looked good in a catalog but failed when it mattered most in the backcountry. As a family-run shop from Idaho, we asked a simple question: Why is it so hard to find reliable equipment built by people who actually use it?

Our answer was to build equipment that is honest, dependable, and crafted without shortcuts. Inspired by the rugged high country and grounded in our Christian faith, we built Mountain Fever Outdoors on values we live by every day: hard work, integrity, and absolute reliability.

What Makes Our Equipment Different

Today, we build a specialized line of made-to-order hunting gear — including The Hand-Off bow holder — using rugged materials and a straightforward approach. We don’t believe you should have to wonder if your equipment is going to survive the trip. Our gear is as honest as our handshake.

Too many outdoor brands rely on mass production, corporate buzzwords, and cutting corners. We chose a different path. Every piece of gear we create is designed to solve a real problem in the timber, built right here in our shop, and hand-inspected so we maintain complete control over its quality. We believe in it so much that we back it with a lifetime warranty (unless it's lost or stolen).
